Hi. I feel i have a responsibility to alert my fellow Australians that we have a douchebag running the country. So from now on i have decided that i will report on every stupid thing that Kevin Rudd and the Australian Labor Party does. This means that i will be posting A LOT more frequently, no doubt.

First thing that springs to mind which is worthy to report on is the Australia 2020 Summit. For those of you who haven’t heard, its an event that went for two days, where 1000 people gathered together to just dream up ideas for Australia’s future. This group of people consisted of random people of the general public as well as politicians and some celebrities such as Cate Blanchett and Hugh Jackman.

This is such a huge waste of time. What do celebrities know about anything? What sort of valuable contribution can a random person make when trying to think up ideas that will help Australia be a better place? These people dont know anything about setting appropriate objectives for the whole country. All they bring to the table is their own perspective from what they have experienced. This is not helpful when trying to think of things that will be best for Australia as a whole. It just results in biased opinions and narrow minded goals. The whole summit can’t achieve anything worthwhile.

But please dont just take my word for it. Go to this link and see for yourself.

This is the summary of what sort of ideas they came up with from the weekend. Just some of the painfully useless suggestions included the following:
“recognise we are a community by 2020 - all members are respected, everybody is important.”  -  Hasn’t this already been achieved?
“build on infrastructure”   -  no shit sherlock..
“canbera has a bohemian nature”   -  not even an idea.. just a statement
“national breast feeding policy”   -  …
“incentives for all new buildings to incorporate arts facilities”   -  what the hell does this achieve?
ARE THESE PEOPLE SERIOUS?

The Australian Labor Party has run out of ideas and they haven’t even been in office for a year. They turn to the general public to suggest some things and this is what they come up with. I think Australia is doomed in the hands of these drop kicks. Please don’t let Kevin Rudd run this country into the ground. Next time you go to vote for who will run the country.. DO NOT base your decision on who looks the best, who is the youngest, how long they have been around, who is the most likable person.. base your decision on intelligence and who can run the country better.

You’re not wise… you’re simple minded and stuck in the olden days.

Not all old people are the same. Of course some old people are alright or even cool. Sadly, this is not the case for most of them. They are overwhelmingly selfish, offensive, arrogant and generally a pain in the ass.

You would think, after 80 years of living, they would have learnt that the world doesn’t revolve around them. Strangely enough, they appear to become more and more up themselves the older they get. Take the queen for example. She’s a totally useless part of today’s society, yet she believes she is the best thing in the whole world.

Old people try to force their pointless olden day traditions on the younger generations like “men must take their hats off inside but women can keep theirs on”. Apparently this was initially brought about so men couldn’t hide weapons in their hats when they go into your house. This is a stupid rule that should never have been invented because someone can easily hide a weapon anywhere else in their clothing. Kids have identified this rule to be useless and therefore they do not abide by it. Younger generations should be free to do what they see as appropriate. This is how change comes about and progression occurs.

The main problem with old people is that they think they are owed respect just because they are older. This is really hard for me to understand. After all, we are the taxpayers who pay for their pensions. Shouldn’t they be the ones owing respect to us?

I was on the train the other day sitting in the seat which is required to be given to pregnant, disabled or elderly people upon request. The train was not crowded at all and there were spare seats all over the place. An old woman boards the train and requests for me to give her my seat.. wtf! Firstly, she can obviously sit in another seat that isn’t taken. Secondly, she has paid for a concession ticket and I have paid full fair. Therefore, I should have priority when it comes to deciding where to sit.

Why are they allowed a cheaper ticket anyway? They take up the same amount of space or sometimes even more than anyone else. Is it because they don’t earn as much money? I’m a full time uni student and I am not allowed to get concession tickets because they don’t offer them for uni students. I can’t earn very much money because I’m too busy studying yet I’m forced to buy full fair train tickets.

Why are old people treated so well even though they treat the rest of us like dirt? It’s time for them to realise that they need us, we don’t need them. So treat younger people with respect and stop thinking that you’re owed something just because you’re old.
